After a few mechanical issues over the last few months, fortunately nothing too serious, it was time to give the old girl some TLC.

She had a mysterious Mark on the,bumper and the usual scratches down the sides from trees and bushes on country lanes so she went in for a makeover. The rear bumper has been resprayed and the sides buffed and she looks much better. Next step is the pillars which are much better but not quite a good I would like.

The real problem however was the interior with the seat bolsters and door card arm rests looking very shabby. The steering wheel also looked a bit shiny and there a poor previous repair on the drivers door card, probably from the seat belt buckle getting trapped.

After much searching I came across a local company who I realized are on my doorstep. After a chat last week and giving them time to get the right color dye I dropped her off and then picked her up to day. Pictures aren't great because they are tak n on my phone in the dark but I am really pleased with results.

It cost £200 all together.

Im not sure exactly how it's done but I think the basics are they clean the leather, treat it with something to help the dye stick then spray the colour on.

I can't wait to see it in daylight, it's been bugging me for months.
