I'm pretty sure there must be some way to update the system. It is done via DVD after all....... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

i've been told its via a firewire connection via a socket just to the right of the glovebox fusebox.. ... - .- -.

Hmm not sure. Didn't see a connector when I had the glovebox apart the other day. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Quite agree.

Just knowing IF they are going to provide maps newer that 2014 would be useful........I guess they might not admit they have no intention do so because it would affect customer relations if they left owners of such (relatively) new vehicles high and dry

its also been suggested that because the 2010-2012 nav and the l405 nav is so similar that nav directions could be shown in the centre of the speedo dash like the l405..
i doubt whether LR would consider putting any man hours into this.. ... - .- -.
