Would anyone out there be good enough to post a picture of the above.
I'm sure there are some parts missing from mine.
The battery doesn't some to be held firmly enough.

There are 2 x HB1 and 10678..........

The battery slides under the the clamp at the rear of the tray and the 2 front clamps (10678) are then screwed down with HB1.. If your battery is loose then I suspect that it's sitting on top of the rear clamp bracket rather that under it.. remove the front clamps, slide the battery as forward as it will go and then slide it backwards again, it should stop and have wedged it's self under the rear clamp, then replace the front 2 clamps and all should be good  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Missing It's as near as dam it a new car Me thinks there have been some Gremlins at work

That page was from the Microcat link in wiki, can be found here http://lrparts.ru/engl/ Just click on Land Rover Microcat in the middle of screen and then select your car from the list on the left! you'll be able to work out what's missing and the part numbers (click on number in diagram and a box will open with part number info)

I think the previous owner and/or the garage I got it from fitted a new battery and weren't too careful when they went about it !!

If it's the clamps / bolts that are missing, you might be able to get from Fleabay.. they look the same as the early cars... Just looked they are the same! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The only things I have are one clamp and one bolt, the rest have gone awol

Might pay to chuck a 5 year old in the battery box head first... the missing clamp might be lurking there

.... I just can't get over LR charging best part of £100 for a bit of pressed tin... I'm sure that there will be a cheaper alternative out there.. Britpart want £15.. but you still have the add the bolt cost.. didn't get that far..

I think these missing bits might be the cause of my starting problems .
The ff starts first time for months, then I think the battery terminals work loose and she don't charge properly, all because the battery isn't held securely.
What you think ?
