Please can someone post a picture of the lead that plugs in the glovebox socket.
Mine didn't come with a lead?

Would it charge my iPad mini ? When I use it to connect my new iid tool, or can I just use the USB socket?

its been mentioned before re an adapter that will allow use of the standard LR ipod lead Mike...

As Stan said but if you only want to charge it then the USB will do the job fine. I use other USB to charge my phone and have a tune2air connected to the iPod connector. So in answer to your question if you just want to charge the USB using the standard apple lead supplied with your iPad will do the job  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
