At 3:47, I like the optimism. 4 way indicators "if" you have to stop.

I've driven that chassis and it's quite an experience.

I'm not sure how many there were originally but we know of two still in existence, one is in private hands & the other is owned by the Range Rover Register. We bought it at auction and have done a gentle rolling restoration on it over the years. It now lives in a luxury covered race trailer & gets taken to shows throughout the year.

It's an interesting drive. It's clear there isn't any bodywork but there's also no floor so all the drivetrain is clearly visible doing its bit, this was deliberate on LR's part to demonstrate the 4x4 (H&S would have a fit today!). The chassis is weighted with great lumps of iron, the idea being to replicate the weight of the complete vehicle despite the absence of most of it.

The first picture was taken at Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago. I'm not driving on this occasion, that honour went to the chap who was club chairman at the time the purchase was made. I took the photo from the back of a RRC Convertible that used to belong to Roger Taylor of Queen.

That's definitely not the RRR chassis ..... ours has all the workings for air-con (Bizarre I know for a vehicle with no bodywork) fitted at the front and not a winch.
Does look like you had a good day driving some unique vehicles ..... when/where did this happen? I'd be interested to know if this is the other chassis we're aware of or ???? Current - RRV Autobiography 4.4V8 2005
