Illuminated steering wheel buttons not lighting up anymore

As per topic title - no obvious causes, all the buttons still operate but do not illuminate when side/ headlights are turned on. I checked a couple of obvious fuses (23 & 29 from memory) last night, but all were fine. Does anyone have any clues please ?

Try turning your dash light slider down to nothing then up again. 2004 black Vogue TD6
