1st to 2nd thump

When pulling away in the tdv8 I get a 'thump'between 1st and 2nd gears. The thump actually hits just before the car changes gear. Anyone else ever experience this?

Jim o if u do a search, there are lots of posts on thus. Could need software upgrade, gearbox oil change etc.

Are you sure it is 1st to 2nd. FFRRs usually move off in second
