The last Australian 2G/GSM network (Vodafone) is closing in September so I want to migrate to using my iPhone via Bluetooth rather than call forwarding my iPhone to the car phone as I currently do when in the car.

The 10 pin plug has exactly the same wires in it as the 6+3, only in a different housing and order, but it is reverse engineerable |

It seems I was confused. The Intravee won't do Bluetooth so it's not suitable.
