TD6 Vacuum Filter

Has anyone ever replaced this?

Did you notice any difference etc?

Not the sort of part that would need replacing too often unless you were in an area of extreme fine dust.

Changed mine about 18 months ago, no difference.
There is only one pipe connected at the top, the bottom is left open.

Me too now, it goes somewhere back towards the engine.

I'd like to think it was the gearbox breather or something and I'll take it off and my car will run mint, somehow don't think so!

Here's Microcat diagram of it so I'm guessing it definitely shouldn't be there?
