Thanks to a few people in my office today joyfully pointing this out, the 22" option wheels on the Autobiography are unsymmetrical. Of course the fact all 4 wheels are identical is what gives rise to this, but given they're a kind of turbine design they appear directional which gives rise to them looking correct on the right side of the car as the angles go with the direction, but on the drivers side they look back to front.

It's a good thing we all like different things as I think they set the car off beautifully & suit the car very well. I guess I'd have to say that having paid £2200 to upgrade to them. Certainly the best looking upgrade wheel option I think on the AB, however the standard AB wheels are quite attractive too. This is also the first time I've paid for upgraded wheels so am possibly a little sensitive |

There is one other thing that I noticed, and that is that the car is a different colour on the Drivers side than the passenger side..... |

I too have a bit of OCD, and too top matters off, this different wheel pattern surely has a technical effect as well? The wheel will draw air cool air in or perhaps expel hot air in a different way from side to side. This could have an effect on braking and on the wear qualities of the braking components! Something else for consideration. |
