Who could be pfaffed with buying an approved used L405 from a MD which has wheels on it you're not really a fan off and therefore you would need to go and source your own?

Yes, I agree, Stick. Like you, my 2011 Vogue TDV8 has never missed a beat, I know its history, miles are still low, and with the 405, you would pay a huge preium to sit behind the same engine and gearbox. It is a no brainer, unless money is no object. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

A lot of these approved used L405 have been for sale for months. Maybe overpriced or because they're not very well prepared or a combination of both!

theres a red 405 at Hunters down the road from me......

But its got the wrong wheels and a black interior. Big fan of the ivory now, so I will pass on it, it as you say has been on their webpage for a month or 2 now, hovering around the 50k mark. 20+k in to get a car which is only a couple of years newer, with pretty much the same engine and gearbox, is just not worth it for me.

If I was on a PCP I would be trading up next year, but I'm not, and I'm not in favour of bunging a load of cash in LRs direction for the second time in the space of 2 years. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
