I looked at the x5 as i do like the look of the shape but when you compare the interiors there is no point, i cant see why bmw would put so much plastic in there, it was like the merc ml, they have the same plastic based dash, not what you would expect for that type of exceptive car, so i went for the RR, far more leather and what i think is a quality dash and interior, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Yep, my Bro has the "Does my bum look big in this" model - fatarse rear end on a 10 plate I think. It's the 3.5 log burner.

The White D4 with the Hawke wheels - you don't want the Hawkes............................ several of the RRS guys bought that style and had severe problems with cracks and deforming. IIRC one guy had one shatter on the motorway |

i've had 2 x5's - both diesels. an 04 plate 3.0d and an 08 plate 3.0sd (twin turbo). owned both for c2 years / 30k miles each. nice cars - firm ride and seats. lots of plastic. very reliable and slightly faster than a ffrr - on paper. but having just bought a 10MY vogue se i would never go back - and the difference is night and day. don't do it! |
