Shocked 63000pounds +VAT for a Defender 130 with grey vinyl interior..........

Wowee, that's expensive.
The back body is an Azalai conversion, which is one of the best camper defenders I've ever seen.

Figure about £20,000 for the back body fitted plus options at extra cost...

I reckon you could get a new 130, get it converted exactly how you want and still make that look expensive, baring in mind it's nearly a year old and 2nd hand !

It's odd that after a few years, the Defender resale values exceed Range Rovers for equivilant years........

Before buying the TD6 did look at owning a 110 Station Wagon again, until I compared the prices! Shocked

I do like a 110 station wagon... but driving about with your shoulder jammed up against the B post gets tiring after a short while. That's why I have one for hobby use only!

Gaz, how do campers depreciate?
I know it's slower than on cars, but even a small % on such a large figure makes me wonder...

If I put my elbow out of the window, my shoulder is still rubbing hard on the B post. My legs are too long to get forward enough for my arm to be completely where the window is. I'd have my legs up round by my ears.

I driver a Defender every day for 6 years, doing 20k miles a year... but in the end it just became too painful. So I bought a FFRR. Cool
