Wales 2019 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Loire Blue

Nice 1Jayboy but I’m considering going the other way.

A couple of reasons..... 1 of them being the seats in the SVR are not that comfortable on long runs and I damaged my back a couple of years ago and I’m struggling a bit with my SVR.
I’m seriously considering ordering a new SVA with the 565bhp engine which will make the same noise as the SVR when pushed but has comfort as well.
I also get regular 28/29 mpg indicated on mine on longish runs which in the real world and not LR fiddle factors probably more like 24/25 so not that bad.
I’ll keep an eye out for you as we are in the same neck of the woods and give you a wave. Enjoy your new car.

If there’s anything you need to know about your SVR give me a shout and I’ll help you out 👍👍👍

Probably my favourite land rover at the minute.

Engine noise is incredible and they are really quick for such a large car.

Mpg doesn't sound far behind our td6 surprisingly and petrol is cheaper than diesel.

I think it's the only SVR I've seen that's not been blue so that's a nice change and makes it a bit of a sleeper.

I've seen a few SVRs out and about. I was in a queue of traffic going into Manchester once and came across an Overfinch job. It seemed that everything within 10 metres of the vehicle was vibrating Shocked and the noise was amazing (this was just barely above an idle). I'm afraid that it would do my head in living with it every day. I think the "normal" SC burble is more than enough. Smile

Enjoy though! Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
Galaxy 2001-2007
Mondeo Estate 1997-2001
Sierra Estate 1993-1997
Uno Turbo 1987 -1993
Fiesta 1984 - 1987
Fiat 127 1982 - 1984

appj62, not sure if it’s common knowledge on here but, the exhaust valves can be opened via a switch on the centre console so the noise is there continuously or if that switch is not operated then the valves open automatically when the car is over 3500 rpm. So in normal running the soft v8 burble is there, even at motorway speeds but to be honest I personally push this button on just after pushing the auto stop/start off every time I drive mine. That SVR is a cracking looking car Jay. There was a chap up here who was trying to talk me into buying his Estoril Blue one recently. It owed him more then i could justify spending on one unfortunately.

I hope you have many fun and enjoyable miles in it. Thumbs Up

Shocked

Thankfully I'll be dead by the time electric cars are mandatory and the only way you can hear a sound like that is on a video recording , who wants to live in a world where you can't buy that noise , fantastic
