Does the L405 look better with or without mudflaps?

Ours has them, wondering whether to remove them to make the lines of the car look cleaner but they do catch a lot of crud from the roads...

IMHO they always look better without, but stay cleaner with.

They certainly help keep steps cleaner. 2008 Vogue Black - gone

I had them on my L322. In the winter I was glad of them, however when the better weather arrived wished I didn't.

Now I don't have them on my L405, I still feel the same way.
