I realise I will have wasted the money on the DA polisher and all the polishes but at least it will look good and wasting money is something I am good at (not as good as SWMBO) Geoff | ||

 Agree Vogue and with other comments about keeping it working well. As mentioned, have a lot of 'detailing gear' but little time. £400 I'm thinking maybe but the inside wouldn't need doing anyway. It's just the paint panels really. Even at £400, it's a couple of tyres or brake discs/ pads or 1/4 of an LR warranty. But, those professional retailers do make them look good | ||

 Watched a couple of you tube vids and bought some 3000 grit sandpaper from an auto paint shop today... And set to work on a front wing of the car.. First time for everything   | ||
