My garage is a bit of a pandora’s box,😁😁
It is actually very easy to get out of the car because the door opens full width into a second attached garage.
Unfortunately the doorway is a bit tight and the bit of wall to the right is actually the outside (structural) wall of the house so I can’t widen the access.
I can’t get out if I reverse in other than by climbing into the passenger seat and opening the passenger door.
If you look carefully at the picture you will see that I have lowered the floor by a foot to give me 8ft headroom, thus plenty of space for an electrically operated up and over door.

My drive is very steep.
I have made 2 reinforced 15 ft long planks
If I drive or reverse into the garage and then put them out in place and then drive out onto them I can get 2ft clearance under the car for draining diffs etc.
Unfortunately I am not Peter Pan and I am getting a bit old for big jobs.
