Side repeater lamp glowing

Hi all, I have a strange one here. The side repeater on the drivers side wing has decided it is going to glow permanantly. It is at a low level, and won't flash with the indicator. It still glows when the ignition is off and the car is locked. I have taken the lamp out so I don't get a flat battery. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Had another look at this this morning, good earth at lampholder, lamp swapped but no different.

I measured the voltage at the lampholder and it is readung a constant 6.3v. This is with the ignition off or on, and with or without the indicators on.

Amyone any idea where I am getting a constant 6v from, and where I might need to look to sort this?
