My winter detailing video

There are a few threads and comments on here regarding detailing of the range rover. I do admire and appreciate the effort and time that this requires, and the gleaming results that come from it.

So given it was a clear blue sky day today, I thought I would record some of the same detailing effort I put into my RR.

After making the Westie nice n shiny before I left a couple of weeks ago on a nice sunny day - I returned to more snow and salt ...
So until the weather really becomes spring - that will be my detailing routine! But with either tea or double expresso! Series 2a LWB Hardtop - ex British Aerospace that was then used in an armed robbery! not by me!

R reg 300 tdi Discovery Aviemore - gone to a local enthusiast to be resurrected in Transylvania

As mine had turned white with salt, I got the pressure washer out yesterday and with some of karchers car cleaning agent added, gave it a good blasting down. Very disappointed to see that little of the salt was actually removed so had to resort to bucket and sponge.

There was sugar at the bottom, so you need to stir it up from the bottom in a vertical loop rather than a horizontal loop so that sugar is dispersed evenly top to bottom ....

i.e., I hate when the missus lumps sugar in at the end and doesn't bother stirring it! and you get an increasing sugar level the further you go down the cup ! my stirring method is a result of that! V8 or else ...
