As said, warming it up softens the glue. They should then peel off nice 'n easy.

Well I wouldn't, but the previous owner obviously loved it on his bling Range Rover......
Have junked 22 inch wheels, chrome radiator grill and other bits of tat, just the sport badge to go....

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Mariana Black

I've just bought a couple of plates for my cars. Sorry but they are "S" reg plates as I can't afford a dateless "ASH" plates.

I bought S33 ATB for the RR and S44 ATB for the Merc. I bought them on Wednesday last week and the paperwork came through Friday morning. My Mrs popped down to the local DVLA office and did the paperwork on Friday and I had the plates made up on Saturday and fitted (oh - and told the insurance co of the change..!)

So 4 days to buy, change and fix to the car - Not bad going if it all works out with the processing and post from the DVLA and you are lucky enough to have a local DVLA office close by.! It's actually very easy to do all this as long as you can read the forms and provide the correct documentation they ask for. Ash

I popped into my local office to change registration, did it in 10 minutes (20 minutes in waiting room).
Just ensure you have correct paperwork, old tax disc, MOT etc

Oh, and don't forget to tell insurance company, I nearly did until the DVLA lady said to not forget!

For any glue residue left on the boot-lid, Autosmart Tardis, or Turps will remove the residue without damaging the paint....

Remember to rinse off the car and re-wax the area too, as it will also remove any wax....
