Big orange thing

I live in a small village just outside Leamington Spa and pretty close to the Fosse Way, all of which is only 10 miles or so from the Gaydon factory (loads of JLR folk live around here, it's like a JLR reunion groundhog day). Yesterday while I was round and about in our yard I heard the sound of a NASCAR racer thundering out of the village towards the Fosse, this happened several times but I couldn't see what was making the noise, other than it was large and orange and almost certainly a LR vehicle. It certainly sounded the part. Any ideas? Drives:
