I have a new AGM battery for two weeks and am only just about to fit it.

If you haven’t got a charger with an AGM setting, I’d let the car charge it up on a run. I believe you have to tell the car you have fitted a new battery so it can change it’s charging regime...... so I read somewhere.

I don’t think my ctek has an agm setting..? In fact, mine’s only got one mode button which alternates between motorbike, car and snowflake(?) settings. Does that mean I can’t use it on my battery? 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |
