Firstly, apologies for resuscitating an old thread.

By way of a quick intro, I've been a lurker on this site over the past couple of years, so many thanks for the useful tips that have helped me with sorting friends' cars in the past... my usual Land Rover interest is in the older models, having restored a Series 3 and a Series 2a and I'm active on the s2c website.

My parents bought a 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE a year ago and it's coming up for a service - I've undertaken to help look after it for them so have armed myself with an IID tool etc. However, I can only find a copy of the pre-2010 workshop manual online. Is there any reason that this is available whilst the 2010-12 isn't, or am I just looking in the wrong places...! I guess I could subscribe to the Topix service and get what I need that way, but if there is a "better" solution for me, I'm all ears!

Many thanks once again for the advice I've gleaned from many excellent contributors - hopefully I'll be able to reciprocate when I've started getting my hands dirty with the beast!

I suspect I might need to post a couple more times so that I can pm Stan! Else I'm in for replicating the effort you chaps put in in at the back end of 2016... only solo!

It was £17+vat for a 24 hour session when we downloaded it, but I wasted my first session because I got carried away reading articles and run out of time.
Just concentrate on getting the manual, and you will be able to read it later at your leisure.

Many thanks, Mike. Is it possible to download sections as pdf or is it necessary to screenshot and convert? Either way - do you think manageable with a one day subscription? Bit nuts that the model year to 2010 is readily available and the 2010-2012 isn't... particularly given that this model line has been out of production for over five years! Thanks again, J.

I did the entire manual in a working day. they all download as .pdf's. The real **ache was naming the sections and sorting but that can be done at your leisure after.

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply. I have the manual for my sc - i'm looking to replace it with a 2011 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE that has a couple of issues (heated / cooled seat doesn't work and a squeak from the front of the engine).

I was hoping to take a look at the manual to see what I may be getting myself into before I do the deal.
