Japan 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
NIce welcome home gift

Got back from USA yesterday, and after a few hours delay, finally got this

unfortunately not without issue;

someone had reversed it into something, damaging the rear bumper and one of the reversing sensors *how the hell this happened i will never know) - also if i had not of checked the car this would not have been pointed out to me!
there are also several scratches in the paint.

so the car is going back next week when I am travelling to be "fixed"

the worst part however, is the lack of autobiography pedals in the car.
the autobiography pack includes the grills (front and sides), splitter bar, fog lamp bezels and pedals.

dealer insists the descriptions are incorrect, and that I have to take it up with land rover.

another great start to Land Rover ownership! Gerry

Are they the current 2011 FFRR Autobiog wheels ?

They look really nice but are similar to a set of Black Stormers I had on a 2003 model some years back....

I guess your other post answers my question....

are they TOYO PROXES tyres on the aftermarket Stormers?

Gary

Another example of great LR service. Censored

That's why I'm thinking of leaving the brand

Gary, i didn't like any of the current FFRR wheels, so went with the bog standard ones and ordered the 20" stormer style wheels from elsewhere. Dealer advised that 22's would affect insurance, so choice quite limited.
However I very much like these (black with diamond cut faces), and think they suit the car Smile Gerry

Yes I really liked mine although the tyre size meant a slightly smaller radius which was why I was asking about the Tyres (and size)....

If they are aftermarket copies you also need to check for cracks at least once a year at service time.

Missed the second question;

They are general grabber tyres, recommended by the owner of company I bought wheels from. They are correct radius. Gerry

Gaz meant in the wheels, not the tyres, due to the weight of the FF

I should also mention that a passing neighbour commented, "that looks just like a range rover!" evidently he thought it was an X5, the lettering on the bonnet is clearly not descriptive enough. Gerry

He also said he had an X3, which he used for going shooting and fishing "it's proper intended use". Funnily enough I thought the X3 was a low cost "pseudo offroad a-like" Gerry
