After reading the feedback on Rovertune booked my sc in for service
and new plugs + supercharger belt. Have to say they were as good as
reported. Went into Reading to waste some time, got a call to say front discs
and pads were very low which i knew, asked if i wanted them done as they
had them in stock. so now i can stop as well as go, great service and highly
recommended. Booked in again for next month gearbox oil and filter change
+ diff oils and transfer box oil.

Glad to hear it Dave. Rob, Sarah and their team at Rovertune are the best and I've used them for many years. I've posted their praises several times on here before.

Returned to Rovertune again yesterday for all running gear oil
changes. Cant praise them highly enough, great service again.

I've just had a load of work done by Rovertune. They had previously replaced my air conditioning compressor.

This time I had all fluids, rear brakes, a battery and a couple of other things. I too would highly recommend them. They are very helpful and communicative. Not cheap, but at least I can feel that it was all done properly! 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

I had to go back last week as restricted performance message came up with EML light on.
That turned out to be a fuse in the engine bay fuse box. Unfortunately while this was being
sorted they noticed that the water pump bearings were on the way out so told them to replace it.
After replacement still had a small leak which ended up being the pipe under the supercharger.
Must admit was kept well informed and was lent a small Ford KA at least this saved me getting
a train back to Hounslow. Now all fixed and running sweet again. That`s now about 3.5k in the last 4 months
hoping that`s it for a while.

More great service from Rovertune this week.

My SC’s alternator was starting to fail.

Rovertune booked my SC in within 2 days, diagnosed the problem very quickly (a whirring coming from the engine bay related to engine speed which turned out to be the alternator unhappy under load), plus attended to two other jobs and all done just over 24 hours later.

I rented a car from nearby Enterprise - an easy 9 minute walk away, or they’ll even collect. Si. <This is my name.

I'm fully willing to concede that this may not be the usual Rovertune level of service but I shall attempt to summarise a rather odd call I had with them:

Me: Hi, I'd like to enquire if you carry out Supercharger service or rebuilds?
Rovertune: No we don't service superchargers, if they're faulty we just replace them.
Me: Ok, can I also ask for the price to have the timing chain guide job done on a 5.0 SC?
Rovertune: We don't do that
Me: That's surprising as it's a well known issue and there is an LR TSB for it
Rovertune: Yes but it requires lots of specialist tooling and even we don't have that
Me: Surprised to here that as the tools I understand are a few hundred pounds
Rovertune: OK then

Not sure I'll be using them then....

You're right my profile does say TDV8. I also have a 5.0 sc.
