I have had the airsuspension inactive bong for a few months now.
I bought an IID BT tool to clear any codes and read the current ones. I changed the compressor yesterday same as I have AMK. I got a local indie to check my vin number (SALLMAM238A2736??) and he said that my age of RR only had the AMK compressors fitted.
Codes prior to changing compressor
C1A20-64 (AF) Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure ( on 27-05-2018 18:32:11 at 105562 mi )

Code after changing compressor

With the GAP tool I only ever see 30 - 35psi pressure.
With the GAP tool suspension goes up and down OK.
The confusing thing for me is when I read the ECU's I get 2 suspension ECU's One Hitachi and one AMK.
It reports that it is using the Hitachi. Now I have had the vehicle for 4 years prior to any of this and these are the first problems with suspension I have had. I am waiting for a suspension relay to be delivered to change that.
If anyone could shed some light on the GAP tool which is totally confusing me at the moment I would be gratefull.

I would have a good look at the reservoir (under the driver's side) and around the relief valve (on the rear end)

After 2005 they stopped galvanising them and they are prone to rust and leaks.

You should be getting @ 180psi pressure.

Also check all your air pipe work .

mine has just had this one C1A10-64 (2E) Pressure fluctuates when the system is inactive but all ok at the minute . Mine was sitting lopsided in the morning

wow mine looks far better than that one. Do not know what it looks like on top tho
