I’m afraid I can’t give you anything helpful or positive, Bill, all I can do is confirm you have the correct sticker for your Fatty and confirm your Euro 6 diesel is indeed considered on a par with Euro 5 diesel and Euro 4 petrol. (There’s much diesel-bashing in France …)

Pay to visit seems a bit harsh - its a one time cost of something like £5 for the sticker..... |

The charge is for the moment only small, about 4quid and lasts the lifetime of the car. Unless of course you need a new windscreen and they won’t issue a duplicate!

Good point ... it’s a fine, but a warning , just returned from Paris and I have never seen so many tow trucks together with people driving them that look as if they are on a bonus scheme! The cost of a fiver doesn’t matter much. More concern about how a local French council can demonise a Euro6 engine...JLR /motor trade should really take up this issue...
