I used it on front & rear calipers 6 or 7 months ago - on ours front are 4 pot alloy Brembo & rear cast iron TRW.

We do have a caravan, but just driving with forward thought and gear braking does the trick.

I gave the front calipers 2 coats. It was so hot when I did the first coat, I couldn't get it to dry smoothly the first time or without thin patches.

Hammerite done in situ, took a few coats mind, but that is down to colour.

Don't think its the colour for me, but look well done. Just need the weather now. Then its fix noise/fit disc and pads with nice finish of paint |

Reviving an old thread! I'm thinking of refurbishing my calipers as they seem to be in a pretty poor (aesthetic) state from repeated corrosive wheel cleaner use.

Mine are the yellow ones in this thread, done with hammerite 2 years and 40k ago, mine got wire wheeled to get to loose stuff off then brake cleaner before painting.

They get a bit of use, and I tow trailers most days and a twin axle caravan
