When unlocking the car usually the splash screen is shown on the touch screen and the power button has the flashing light in it, however lately none of this has worked. Its as if the head unit has no power.

I did the usual of checking the fuse box and found that when I pull out fuse F49 15A from the main fuse box(not blown) and replace it the power is returned and screen works although the radio settings are now reset (stations saved but not identified)

This is now happening nearly every day and it's getting on my nerves.

Does anyone have any insight? All help appreciated.

i'd consider a battery replacement...

That was my first thought. Sadly I only do very short journeys these days and the battery doesn't get much charge time.

Hook up a ctek charger to it when not in use. Can be done through towing electrics if fitted. See shop section  Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
