Bill : The phone No'S will be stored in Chalkys google account so its unlikely a shop could have transferred them to a "i" . The whole google experience from browsers to chrome books to Android phones is fantastic LOL Did I read somewhere there was a update for the issue of I phones not transferring the full contact list ???

Charlie,

I switched back to iPhone because some of the things and apps on a Pixel do not work very well in the FFRR, for example Spotify doesn't work unless you work it from the phone. It doesn't work off the infotainment screen like the iPhone does.

Some of the apps I use are not as good on Android either. I loved the Pixel, it had some great features but it seems the tech world revolves around iPhones, or at least LR are so obsessed with the American market that they base everything they do on an iPhone Evil or Very Mad . Just my opinion. Confused

Well. I've got my contacts on the car, except the top 6 "A" names are on the bottom of the list after the last "Y" name. Seems odd, but at least they are on there and working Whistle

Excellent Chalky. A lot of the time the Bluetooth setting has to be optioned with all contacts on your phone.

I have apple CarPlay now on mine!

I’m afraid you have to go to LR and ask for infotainment software update to ‘18C’ which includes apple CarPlay.

I got mine done last week. Much better than in control apps

I was asking the question Friday gone regards this upgrade whilst the car was in having a tow bar & side steps fitted.
The guy in the service department said that the upgrade had led to complaints from some users regarding different lay out and appearance.
Have you noticed anything negative regards the upgrade, or is it win win all round?

Jase,

How is that update? Went to London today and the Infotainment system is a disaster area. SatNav froze, inControl is a joke with too many things happening to list them on here.

One day everything is great, the next nothing works and the left hand steering controls are virtually non-existent.

Booked in to MD on Thursday for software updates so hopefully that'll cure everything......or will it????
