I saw a RR Sport in Lidl today...

When I go at least I have the decency to take the other-halfs car!

I was at Lidl today too, but I was in an Astra Van Laughing

The Evoque does look quite funky, a mate of mine has one on order in white. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Land Rover = Utility vehicles in a lot of peoples eyes, Range Rover = Luxury

So the Defender Disco and Freelander are utility cars................................ I think not in the case of HSE Disco and Freelander

I've just received the December issue of What Car? and there is a buyer clinic/what joe public thinks for the Evoque, interestingly not one LR owner among the people involved - BMW/Merc and other marques. All raved about the car and several of them claimed to already have put down a deposit on one to be early on the delivery list. All commented on th high quality of the interior and the materials used but also they commented that they all felt the price was taking it into BMW X3/X5 area and compared to them it would be poor value for money

I paid my deposit to LPR at the beginning of last year but took my name off the list when I used the deposit toward the FFRR - I will wait for the first mad rush to clear and the problems it will inevitably get after it goes on sale to find fixes before I put my name down for one as a replacement for the FFRR.

From what I can gather it isn't a lot smaller then F2 in 5 door form. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

England 2019 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Indus Silver

They have been out on test in the UK for a few months now and good reports coming back in.

Got a deposit on one since Nov last year and went to the official launch at the boat show early Jan - free champers from LR Thumbs Up but the 2 vehicles they had there were "pre-production" and I thought let the launch down as they were badly finnished Rolling Eyes

They do look good in the flesh though and I think the 4 wd versions should be good as long as they keep up the promise of being up to RR standards Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

I have a deposit on one too, but which one will be the smart money choice - 2.0lt Turbo Petrol Coupe or a 5 door 2.2 SD Diesel

The picture in the firt post looks like Rimini Red but all the red cars I seen in the press are Firenze Red which looks much more like a solid red which looks fantastic in Dynamic style with a black or a white roof............

Tim, what's the deal with the SD diesel? Are they supercharged rather than turbocharged? 2006 Mercedes CLS
