Got my car back yesterday evening after the MD completed the updates.

Everything is now working perfectly and Apple Carplay is brilliant. Very smooth and quick to use and works especially well with Waze and Spotify. I love the ease of messaging and using Whatsapp too.

Some people don't like the interface (the dealer warned me about it!), but although it is a bit "Child-like" it is very clear.

Interestingly, the updates they have applied are noted as "recalls" on their paperwork so seems odd that JLR don't notify owners? I would have thought it would have made sense for them to do so, if only to avoid people having to complain!!

The recalls are : N186, N196 and N222 V2. I presume some are covered by the 18C update talked about on here?

Hi Chalky, sorry to hear that. Software update 18C is proving trouble free for me. Apple carplay is great. best to take it back to them until happy.

HI Jase

Don't need to take it back I am happy!! See post above your reply.

Only problem, and nothing to do with FFRR, is that Waze is unable to connect sometimes, but if I reboot the phone it works again. Probably to do with latest iOS update!
