Marshall Land Rover Military sales

Does anyone have experience of ordering from Marshall Land Rover Military sales, especially for their ‘over 5 years retired’ discounting process?

No experience, but with such good discounts i would sign up...except they may not take me now! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Carpathian Grey

When I was serving, I took delivery of two Freelanders and two L322 Range Rovers with Military Discount at that time it was more than Landrover staff were given. The process then was fine. I engaged with the JLR Mil and Diplomatic Sales guys two years ago, the people were the same as in 2003 and remonstrated with them that they should include ex military due to the downsizing in the Forces numbers andf the fact other motor manufactures were listed on the Defence Discount Service Card Scheme. They said then they were working on applying it to Vets. Nice to see its come to fruition.

Paul Journey started in a LR2B at 16 and has incl. just about every Land Rover, Disco, RRS and Range Rover Vehicle owned or driven, I even worked for the company when it was owned by BAe - It must be a madness!!! because to add to my 4.4 TDV8 Westminister In Baltic Blue I bought a second L322 as a commuter bus, TD6 2004 Vogue in Oslo Blue with cream leather now both gone replaced with what could turn out to be my biggest mistake. England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

I think the operative phrase here is “Up to”

Earlier in the year I bought Mrs Jim a Volvo XC40 First Edition. The original price through CarWow was very good but I thought that I would chance my luck and asked the very nice sales woman at Bells Volvo Northampton I there was anything else she could do on the price.

Her reply was “it’s a shame that you are not in the Military or a Veteran as I could have offered you an extra discount”

With a big smile I produced my RMA membership card and she instantly recalculated the price.

I ended up with a 17% discount on a car that has won various accolades across the world and international motor industry, which now has an 8 month lead time.

It would appear that more and more retailers are offering Military and Veteran discount. Even Iceland gives me 10% off on production of a Defence Discount Card....👍

Jim
