Velocity Blue on a Full Fat?

After 3 black FFRRs I would like a change of colour to something a little brighter. Has anyone seen a FFRR in Velocity Blue? I like the look of it on the configurator but this is not necessarily representative. Is it too bright for a FF? I quite like the new Volvo XC90 in blue, is it similar to this? Will I look like a chav? Will I take a bath on resale? It would be an SVA dynamic so it would be toned down a little by the dark grey trim pieces and black roof.

Inchcape at Derby have a Velocity Blue Ultra Gloss on the LRAU web site at £99,952.00.
The pictures give a fair idea of the colour, bit of a slap but you could always go and have a look. Smile

Thanks for the link. That’s helpful. I don’t like it will the bright silver trim or those wheels but it could work with the darker grey trim. I like the colour but I am just not sure whether it suits the FF.

Agree a nice colour but for me, better suited to the Sport.

There is a FF running around near me in Velocity Blue and personally i think it is a bit too much on such a big car Shocked

Defo more suited to the Sport.

But, everyone is different...... i have an 19MY SVA-D in Spectral Blue Chromoflair and was very concerned before actually seeing it on the car and now i love it. To be honest i have not had a negative comment.

Just go with your gut, its your car and if you want to have it in Velocity Blue go for it as you can always get SVO to alter any of the bright work to your requirements.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

It looks very similar to BMW Estoril blue which is a favourite colour of mine which I have had twice. However I think the FF may be a bit too big for it and more of a Sport colour as JCW and Lyonhead point out. I will probably play safe and go for British Racing Green in the end.

I can't say I'm keen but each to his own. I like the Byron blue with the light interior and matt walnut as a mix. Looks cool where the wood meets alloy and leather. As I say, each to his own.
