Bournville TDV8 Vogue

Always wanted one, so when I retired six months ago got this. Has been superb, drives like new. Don't see many Bournville ones around, very distinctive when the sun hits it.

Looks very different to this now after a hard winter. Some TLC planned when spring arrives.

And another one here. Three months in, still loving the experience- even the “foibles”.
It even matches the dog!

Jamze, I see you've opted for a quilted boot liner. I think if you take your dog in the back of a L322 it's one of the best accessories money can buy. Really easy to fit, very hard wearing and much easier to remove dog hair from than the tight knit carpet that land Rover used.
Great upgrade.

Agreed Thumbs Up . The car came with the rigid grey LR one, but that was cracked and also the poor dog skidded around the back so not much use to me really. Binned that and got the Premier Products one. Really like it, it still splits if you need to drop the rear seat, just bung it in the wash when it gets too mucky.

Gave up with the double-sided velcro in the end. It's a very good fit, and slots onto the fasteners in the boot so no need for the velcro. One of my better buys. 2008 3.6 TDV8 Vogue Bournville

I just went for the £30 eBay Custom Covers one, which seems to fit pretty well and still allows easy access to the spare wheel.

Double sided Velcro, how does that work? Stick it on the pup’s paws and fix him to the carpet? Very Happy 2010 Bournville Vogue

Very Happy I knew what I meant.

Yeah, the liner was a bit spendy. Friends opposite have an almost identical L322 (but Stornoway) and a lovely L405. Once they saw my liner, found a couple that looks pretty much the same much cheaper on eBay.

Mine has started asking for a service today (inspection). Very handy as we have a good independent in the village. 2008 3.6 TDV8 Vogue Bournville

I also purchased the Custom Covers one and the double sided Velcro for the side panels are made of cheese. The sides now hang down from the top and I must admit to not putting to much effort in fixing it. I did think about tucking under the trim to keep it up but it’s very tight fit. How have you attached yours? = perhaps it’s time to fix it.

Steve.

The dog guard helps. Along the back of the rear seats, it's sandwiched between the guard and seats. Sides clipped on to the fasteners already there.

So only the tailgate bit isn't fixed on mine - I might have a look around for some velcro with stronger adhesive for that bit. 2008 3.6 TDV8 Vogue Bournville

Another good buy was this Bluetooth/USB interface so I can stream music from my phone and any USB device. Much simpler than trying to upgrade what's in the dash. My phone is clever enough to still connect to the LR Bluetooth for phone integration, and also connect to this for music streaming. Nav instructions come through from the phone too, so all works well.

Any idea what were these cutouts were for?? Wonder if you can get a replacement insert to make this part of the central bin more useful?
