I've had a quote of £2,800 for replacement torque converter and full gearbox rebuild, plus the loan of a vehicle while mine is in the garage, is this quote reasonable?

Torrington bearing has collapsed in the TC and worked through the gearbox, not what I wanted to hear, being repaired and gearbox stripped and fixed.
Never a dull moment with a FF.
