I have just changed the rubber buttons with this pad off ebay

It actually works very well.

Its easy to fit with a watchmakers flat screwdriver to pry the rubber over the case lips, but removing the original is quite tricky if you plan to save it as it appears to have been moulded in place when made, it has fingers of rubber that go through tiny slots. Again the small flat blade screwdriver worked best to tear away the rubber from the case. If you don't want to save it, then just tear it away.

I've used this guy a few times, the rubber pads are really good quality (quite good price too) and easy to fit. Just make sure you don't lose the transponder chip when you're changing the rubber pad though, as someone I know managed to do with almost disastrous consequences, till I managed to find it for him and refitted it.
I've done both my keys and got some pads for my local indy garage to use on customer cars, as well as sorting a few friends key fobs as well.
Can highly recommend this guy.

Changed the pads today nice easy job key fob looks much better.
Only problem i’ve Got now is the key isn’t opening the car, can start the car but won’t lock or unlock.
Tried to re-sync it but still can’t get it to work, have to lock and unlock with my spare key.
Will try again tmw if I have time, will be ordering another key fob rubbers for my spare soon. 2004 Autobiography TD6 Java Black
