Key transponder

So I have my new bt tool and I need a spare key
So I've looked at my key
Mine is a late 2006 in dash ignition
So it's a 3 button key
I think it's 433 MHz
And I've looked it's a pcf7936as transponder, which I think is id 46
But the next 2 lines read

D8ye00039
Dn06370

I've looked on flea bay and I can find id46 and pcf7936as
But I can't match the other two lines any ideas out there and is this the reason 06/09 models are hard to pair with new keys
Cheers Thumbs Up

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

I tried along with a guy from south africa who had access to other key programmers and we gave up trying to code new keys to a 2007 car
If you manage to do it please let me know as I could do with a spare.

Good luck and try not to tear your hair out Confused

You can get transponders for coppers but the numbers are different
I think my 2006/07 some may have the old type and some the new type transponders
They mite run on different MHz
Think I will start with a key to try to get it to work with the central locking
Then try and get a chip that works
A lot of the fleabay ones are for Peugeot cars and I think the 3.6 is a Ford/ Peugeot lump
It sounds so easy on the I'd tool
Bcm- yes
Program keys - yes
Then I think it's insert key and repeat

Dingg1 hello mate did you use the idd tool and a new transponder chip

Hi Henda

We used hooky keys from china with the correct chip in each case , the guy has a chip reader and confirmed it was correct , I had no luck at all with the iid tool and asked on all forums if anyone has been able to manage it , it appears no one has.
He used a k900 (iirc) and had no joy and he has managed in all other variants of range rover but not a 2007/8
