3.6 TDV8 2008 oil leak in V between cylinder banks

Has anyone experienced the above and know where it may coming from and what the fix might involve? The car has about 130K miles. Oil leak is slight but it accumulates in LH side of V then runs off the back and drips onto the LH side of the bell housing thence to subframe and along LH underside of gearbox. Fortunately never onto exhaust!
There is so much pipework in there it's hard to see where it might be coming from and even with my boroscope I can't tell. As far as I can see the top oil filter housing seal is not leaking. Is there a bottom seal for that housing or should I suspect oil/fuel cooler itself or its gasket?
Any thoughts or experience gratefully received.

Probably the oil cooler, you can get a new gasket (££)

Not sure if it was on here, but I read a lot about this somewhere, possibly Sport forum or landyZone, worth an interweb search

or it could have been on the 4.4.... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Thanks Joe. It seems to be very uncommon on the 3.6. Do you know if the gasket seals both water and oil? I have no oil in the coolant. What a pain it is. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

Just a thought and hard to say with out seeing it, but check the small turbo hoses at the back of the manifold, mine was leaking from there and running down the bell-housing. I'd not tightened them up enough after EGR valve change. Cheap fix if it is that Thumbs Up

Thanks Dave. EGRs were both changed by local indy around 18 months ago soon after I got the car. I have sucked oil out of the hollows in the rear left of the V so there is limited possibility that hoses are the problem. Thanks though. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8
