I recently bought this car, and was looking around the engine bay with a view to tacking the cam cover gaskets this week. I noticed this pipe tucked behind another. You don't see too many pipe just open like this, so slightly suspicious its been cut.
Anyone know what this is on the BMW4.4L , right side ?
I was just finishing outside for the day before heading to work, so will have a look tomorrow under the car and see where it leads to.

Breather pipe most likely
