Enabling iPod connection kit and rear aux in

Our 2007 appears to have both the iPod connection kit and the aux-in at the rear but I haven't found a way to get either of them to work yet.

Research on this board suggests that the iPod connection kit should respond to the CD changer controls and the Aux in should appear as an input on the screen. Neither is currently happening.

My hunch is that they are not turned on in the cars firmware somewhere. Can anyone confirm if you have to turn them on in the firmware? The IID product listing suggests you can turn them on and off.

Plan A is to get the iPod kit working and use the Bovee 1000 for Bluetooth. Plan B is to just use the physical aux-in connection in the rear.

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes it can be temperamental. Shouldn't need enabling in the CCF.

In the glovebox where the CD changer is there is a switch that lets you change between the changer and the iPod kit.

I found occasionally that you need to stick a small pin in the reset button by the switch after it was changed.

Might be worth a go! Thumbs Up Formerly happymadison1978
