You're confused....

What Overlord Brown means to say as that the cost of living has never been less for Labour MP's, what with all their expenses' n'all!

But don't worry, when all 30mph zones are dropped to 20 and the national speed limit is dropped to 50 and there is an average speed camera on every road you'll be driving about as ecconomically as possible!!

£2000 to scrap a car that may well be perfectly clean running, and cause more carbon to be produced by the factory making the new car, the ship transporting it (no doubt from Japan) and the truck taking it to the dealer.

Grant towards electric cars in order to use electricity produced by coal fired power station.

Wind farms that will never offset the carbon they take to build in their lifetime.

Bailing out banks with no control or guarantees negotiated.

Leaving restricted document on trains.

Lowering speed limits to below the designed economic cruise speed of 99.9% of cars (ie. 56 mph) to save the lives of a few people (in relation to the 65m+ population) of which a certain percentage will have been doing something stupid (drink drivers who kill themselves on the road end up in the statistics the B@stard politicians quote to justify these changes).

Petty City councillors on a power trip imposing congestion charging and employee parking levy's etc.

Are you surprised by Broon and his cronies bullshine? Clarkson for Prime Minister! (Can't believe I said that! Very Happy ) . . . . . .

. . . . . . and breath!

I can't see the Tories be any different to the Labour if they were in power. they're all the same!!!

I'll be very surprise if Brown could scrap the second home allowance next week to stop all other MPs taking the Censored !!!

Got to agree Kin. They are all the same under the skin.

There is a new breed of politician (or at least there is a much higher proportion of them) who are attracted to politics soley to make money while they're in the job and to lay the foundations for a job in industry or QUANGO's after. Their motivations for supporting legislation or making policy is dictated by their personal careers, not by interests of the electorate. It's even worse when some of them have never had any other job other than politics and therefore haven't got a clue about the "real world".

Power corrupts absolutely!

If anybody knows how to get good people into politics who are principled and understand that they are servants of the electorate and not the other way round, then you'll become my new hero.

Don't even get me started on religion! Very Happy Very Happy

ps. I know it's never been different, but I hope one day it will change.
