New car 2008 TDV8 with diff problem?

Hi, just picked up my new RR today and driving it home I noticed something that I didn't fully on the test drive.

Basically when on steering lock - parking, turning at a junction etc - it feels and sounds like the tyres scrubbing, as if the diffs were locked..?

Can anyone shed some light?

Car is on 119k, pretty comprehensive SH, seems looked after. Has x4 new tyres... Confused

Okay, so I've plugged in my diagnostics and although there were a lot of errors, they were mostly spurious/historic or related to a failing battery (new battery just fitted by last owner).

I did notice that the configuration of the car listed; 'Centre Differential lock-up is fitted'

What is this?[/i]

EDIT

Found a couple of codes stored in the Transfer case control module that look rather suspicious;

P2789-00 Clutch adaptive learning at its limit
P186D-00 Clutch actuator is stuck

Looking like the Transfer case might be the problem...

First thing to check, are the front and rear tyres matching?

If they are have they all got roughly the same tread? Porsche 911 (996)

Not got a LR of any kind at the mo, and got itchy feet.

With those transfer case faults I would be having the TC investigated.
