My car had its first service today, carried out by MJ Fews of Charfield, near Bristol.

I've dealt with them for about 30 years and they have never missed a beat! They are extremely professional and knowledgeable(as they were when they were a main dealer!), and their customer care is second to none! They returned the car in showroom condition!

Just thought I'd post a positive amongst all the negative. Next week Dick Lovett, Melksham are having the car to install the 19A update. Will report back! Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

England 2018 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey

As of this this morning I have not had any reply to my email from the dealerships Head of Business; but I guess it's only been, three working days. Although I have to say in my own business all emails are answered within 24hrs even if it's just a 'holding email' to let people know I'm not ignoring them.

However, I have now received an invitation to fill in an online JLR Feedback survey. Which, I have now done, including the text from the email I sent to the dealership.

I won't be holding my breath….. 2019 BMW 440i convertable (hers)

Common Sense has prevailed.

I received two phone calls this afternoon, one from the dealership and the second from their approved body shop.

The first call was from the dealership service department who agreed 100% with me and confirmed that they had found a JLR procedure workaround meaning I can now delivery my car direct to the body shop.

The second was from the body shop to make the actual revised booking, which is now a month earlier in mid-April. They could have done it earlier still if my diary had allowed.

I have to say, I am delighted that a resolution has been found that suits all parties. I am also hopeful the tail gate realignment will also have such a happy ending. 2019 BMW 440i convertable (hers)

Captain Black,

What an ideal resolution as now the middle man has been taken out of it and you can actually inspect your car, when you go to pick it up, and discuss if you are not happy or you are happy with someone who understands exactly what you are talking about and not a dealership sales guy or service advisor.

Hope all goes well Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Yet another call from the dealer this afternoon, this time checking that I am satisfied with the revised date and a promise to call me again the day after the realignment has taken place.

I am wondering if I have become a feather up someone's back passage. 2019 BMW 440i convertable (hers)
