You can't drop the roof without creasing it/damaging it, without taking the pillar covers off anyway...

so probably best to get a "pro" to remove and install aerial then, if they damage it, they can replace it. If so, might opt for an "evoque" dab roof aerial |

Fix aerial to tailgate spoiler then route cable into the car from the tailgate ?

If you are positioning the aerial near the back end of the car it is easy enough to pull off the upper tailgate rubber seal and slide a piece of plywood/MDT board in between the roof and the headlining to protect the roof lining while you drill the roof.
