United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I average around 30mpg in my 4.4 and have done for years across various RR’s. I drive to make progress rather than minimise mpg on a variety of roads daily, normally over 20k miles per annum. MY23 D350 HSE

The main reason I might choose a 3.0 tdv6 is because you can fit 18” compomotive rims. ______________________________

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Silicon Silver

I pull a very large Tin Tent, I have pulled it with a VW V6 and now my 4.4 TDV8 the v6 was good very good or so I thought until I got my V8, My FFRR is the car I should have bought in the first place it will do all I ask of it in peace and comfort and leaves everyone up a hill in my wake? I would not think about a V6 for my purpose`s or the smile it puts on my face when I drive it, Just my two bobs worth?

My FF is used to tow my caravan (2500kg) all over the UK and Europe and it's just brilliant at doing so. Compared to the V6 it's more powerful and therefore more relaxed. My D3 and D4 were excellent tow cars but the V8 is better at pulling the heavier load. The V6 still does a great job but the V8's better. If you're not towing then I'm sure the V6 is ample for most uses.

I know it’s damned heavy and the V8 can still do the keeping up bit. As far as knowing what I’m talking about........... possibly?
