255/70/R18 BF Goodrich All Terrains?

Hi all,

I just bought a set of these online and don’t get them fitted until Monday. Tyres on it when I bought it were really cheap and nasty things that are near bald and de-laminating.

Just received the delivery and the BFG’s look massive! Look the business, but are a LOT bigger looking than current cheapies (old ones are 255/60/R18).

Has anyone got these on their Rangie and if so, any problems rubbing arches/suspension bits etc?

It’s a 2003 HSE TD6 if that makes any difference?

Cheers,

Fish.

Hi,

Just in case it’s of interest to anyone, I got these fitted today and the rear right does slightly rub where the fuel filler pipe comes down - the wheel arch liner ‘bulges’ here and the tyre will rub a little during articulation. It does not actually touch when the vehicle is standing.

As others have said, the arch liner can be heated up and moulded out the way a tiny bit, which is all it needs.

Cheers,

Fish.

Hi,

No, checked them on full lock and they’re fine, just the drivers side rear.

Cheers,

Hugo.

Just got set of these to mine. Love the looks. Mr. Green How is your tyre noise? I have some howling resonance at window side ear when speed hits 35mph. Other side of vehicle sounds much more quiet. I need to get someone else to drive it for further investigation. Rolling Eyes -08 3.6 Vogue
