Extra aux in socket

Would it be much of a job to fit another 3.5mm jack plug into the centre console storage? I’ve just bought an Amazon Echo Input and it works fine in the car. I’ve got it stashed away in the centre console and I’m using a short usb to micro usb cable. However I’m having to use the supplied 3.5mm cable in the rear passenger sockets and the cable trails alongside the centre console so I want to tidy it up.
Anyone done this? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

i ran a aux extension from the rear to my cubby hole in my old SC..a small hole in the cubby and thread it through under and out just below the rear aux socket..

I did consider that Stan. I’d like to conceal it completely though if possible so I don’t have to plug anything in, allowing me to close the lid on the aux sockets. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Andy, on my old 322 i removed the panel and installed a blank one, i then left the original with the cable plugged in underneath the cubby box area knowing i wouldn't need to unplug the cable through my ownership...

That way my kids couldn't kick the cable from the rear! Thumbs Up

I added a 3.5mm input jack into my cubby box - soldered the wiring into the rear Aux in panel to avoid the trailing leads

I fitted a right angle lead and put a hole in the top to feed it under and into the cubby box to keep it all hidden and still close the rear flap.
