Swift LED's and 2010 RR

I haven't plugged it in yet, but would I be right in thinking that because the 2010 FFRR has LED lights, there is no need for the VLM module to be fitted to the Swift electrical system to regulate the voltage to suit the caravan LED rear lights?

So since my post above, I’ve tried it and it works without the VLM fitted which is a bonus. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

By comparison our 2007 was not happy with Swift LED lights, we had the fit the module.

2016 Sterling Eccles (made by Swift) with led’s work fine with a 2012 tdv8. Only issue is the trailer indicator on dash doesn’t work - it is fine with a trailer with old fashioned bulbs. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Yes I noticed there was no trailer light.

The other annoyance is when I select reverse, the reversing sensors come on. I’ve emailed Pat at GAP to see if hey can be turned off when towing using IID but they can’t. My old TD6 never did this. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

We get the trailer light on our 07, both pre and post caravan module.

When we fitted the tow bar, we had to use IDS/SDD to change the car configuration to let it know it had been fitted, we don’t get the fog light, reversing sensors and the engine & gearbox behave differently I feel even with a light trailer.
