Anyone got a VIOFO A129 Duo dashcam?

Thinking about getting one of these but some reviewers saying the cable for the rear camera is quite short (it's 6m apparently) - wondering if anyone has one of these in a L322 and if the cable is long enough to reach the rear window? 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

I don't have one, but 6m seems reasonably generous assuming it goes from the front camera to the rear.

Assuming you have a sunroof, you'd need to run the cable to one side then down the roof lining - I'd use something like this to feed it through

Yes, front cam (just above rear view mirror) to rear cam (top centre of rear window just under brake light) via roof lining with sunroof. Wondering if 6m is even long enough to go along the roof lining to the A-pillar and down along the floor and back up the D-pillar.

Think maybe I should get a big bit of string and measure it out 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Fed mine through the roof lining all the way, why would you want to come down to go back up -- mne was only a 5m extension -- plenty of cable -- not the specific model you have though! Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Figured it might be easier to deal with lifting treadplates and carpet etc rather than messing about with headliner but you're probably right. If 5m worked for you with some left, then 6m will do me just fine

Thanks Thumbs Up 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)
